By August 23, 2018 Key Bank Foundation and The Cleveland Foundation partnered with MyCom’s MyMedia program and sent 7 youth to the State Theater to see the hit play Hamilton with MyMedia Program Manager Edward DJ Phatty Banks. The group included several CMSD New Tech East Students participating in Reading-RAMM American History programming.
Following the first group’s rewarding experience The Cleveland Foundation and MyCom provided the experience for 30 more World History students from New Tech East to travel to Chicago’s CIBC Theater and experience Hamilton live. Combining these exposure experiences, American history research and project-based learning with Reading-RAMM; we present The Hamilton Experience.
