Cleveland Safety Grant: Reading RAMM in partnership with Famicos Foundation received a $20,000 Cleveland Safety Grant, from the city of Cleveland and the Cleveland Foundation to extend A New Me Teen Summits into neighborhood communities and schools to facilitate social emotional programming. Reading RAMM’s 17 year relationship with CMSD allowed our team of therapist, youth educators,  media, and community engagement professionals to engage over 400 middle school 8th grade and high school youth at Famicos Foundation Youth Job & Resource Fair, Glenville and Collinwood High Schools. (Famicos Foundation Partnership)
 
CMSD Humanware: The Annual Anti-Bullying Teen Summit Oct. 26th – 27th is a gathering of students and staff to focus on six types of bullying prevalent in school culture and climate. Students along side their SEL Coordinators will examine the roles of Perpetrator, Victim, Bystander, Upstander, and a Trusted Adult as they create a written scenario which will be filmed, published, and showcased May 9th & 10th at the 2024 Teen Summit. Cuyahoga County Youth Work Institute: Edward “DJ Phatty” Banks is a part of the training and planning team for the Cuyahoga County Youth Work Institute. He will be instructing both large and small groups in concepts and techniques of youth development and the use of media in youth programming. (Case Western Reserve University Partnership)

Ginn Academy: YR contributors from Ginn Academy are participating in YR Media Arts programming producing social emotional driving question podcasts. (Starting Point Partnership)

WOVU 95.9FM: My Young Fam radio show airs every Saturday at 12pm. The show showcases media projects produced at all Youth Renaissance Sites.

Bolton School: 5th – 8th grade YR participants are completing social emotional media arts projects during after school programming. (Boys & Girls Club Partnership)

Euclid Park School: 5th – 8th grade YR participants are completing social emotional media arts projects during after school programming. (Boys & Girls Club Partnership)

John Adams College & Career Academy: 9th – 12th grade YR participants are completing Affirmation Factory Projects. (Boys & Girls Club Partnership)

Starting Point: Reading RAMM has been awarded an OST grant to provide Youth Renaissance programming to Collinwood Nottingham and Northshore Collinwood neighborhoods for 2022 – 2024. We are currently providing media arts programming at Ginn Academy and Collinwood High School reinforcing social emotional learning.

TRIO Cuyahoga Community College Metro Campus: High School TRIO participants of the Youth Renaissance Evolution of Music Project completed their soundtrack and will release the the 10 song album on all major streaming sites March 2023.

Students were introduced to industry professionals from R&B Soul, Country, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Rock N Roll and Hip-Hop. Guided by Reading RAMM Professionals, students examined the origins, pioneers and social impact of each genre before producing an original album.

EOM Project Film features music produced by DJ Phatty Banks, performed by TRI-C TRIO students featuring Cleveland industry professionals.

Two music videos and a film will be released March and April 2023. (Tri-C TRIO Partnership)
