Success Society is an organized group of scholars and educators who collaborate to celebrate academic excellence and achievement through various events throughout the school year and out of school time. Through the use of project-based learning, A New Me teen summit workshops, and access to community resources and field trips; Success Society will equip and empower young people with the five core competencies of Social Emotional Learning to develop high self-esteem, social awareness, build relationship skills, and improve decision making skills.

 

Collinwood High School Success Society students won Best In STEAM School Showcase 2017 performing their completed science songs that reinforce science standards made possible by Starting Point.

5 Pointe Community Center Success Society program supports The Royal Diamond Dolls who recently placed 3rd place in a Milwaukee Dance Competition. The girls are very active in the community supporting events like The Glennville Festival. This is programming is made possible by Starting Point. 

Success Society supported the first Kick Ball with the Cops project which was a huge success in the Collinwood area!

Mary McLeod Bethune Success Society students participated in a project with Who’s Who in Black Cleveland & Rhonda Crowder & Associates.
Success Society Summer Camp was free for Collinwood area youth who attended the School of Pop Culture. Made possible by Starting Point. 

Aye Dance was created during summer programming of Success Society at 5 Point Community Center made possible by Starting Point.
